*Child Care Benefit (CCB) provides assistance to parents with the cost of quality child care. CCB is paid directly to the centre to reduce your daily fees or may be applied for as a lump sum at the end of the financial year. It is subject to residency tests as well as assessment of family income and assets.

*The 50% rebate is calculated on your out of pocket expense to a maximum of $4000 per financial year.

*Yes. Parents are entitled to claim CCB for up to 24 hours (2 full days) of care. Parents must pass the government’s work/study/training test to be entitled for more than 24 hours CCB. Please contact the Family Assistance Office for further information regarding your entitlements.
